Abingdon was established in 1983 by Dermot and David Ryder.
We were first based in Dun Laoghaire in 2006, then we moved to Kilcoole, where we have been based until 2020, when, due to the pandemic we commenced working remotely which we will continue to do for the foreseeable future. Our correspondence address has changed to Mangan Lane, Ballygarrett, Gorey, Co. Wexford, however our contact phone number and email address remain unchanged.
In 2014, when we decided to specia
lise in Financial Services we transferred our General Insurance Division to a local brokerage, County Hooper Dolan of Main Street, Newtownmountkennedy.
We now provide advice and can arrange cover for Life Insurance (family and Corporate), Mortgage Protection, Serious Illness, Income Protection, Pensions and Investments. We also provide advice on Health Insurance.
We are members of the Irish Brokers Association and in 2014 we were proud to be shortlisted for the award of Best Broker Leinster (excluding Dublin).
We are regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.
